Samira Khashoggi. Samira Khashoggi ( Arabic: سميرة خاشقجي, 1935 – March 1986) was a Saudi Arabian progressive author, as well as the founder of Al Sharkiah magazine. On 2 October 2018, Jamal Khashoggi, a Saudi dissident journalist, was killed by agents of the Saudi government at the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, Turkey.
