I read this book (can’t remember if it was a series or not) 25-30 years ago, and I don’t think it was a recent book. It probably came out in the 80s, but no later than the early 90s. I apologize if the the following bits are too vague, but hey, if I remembered more I’d most likely remember what the book was in the first place, lol.
