Alamo, California, USA (East SF Bay Area) I think this is a domestic cat, but if so, it is very large, with an extra long tail. The base of that redwood tree is at least 5 feet across. Mountain lions frequent the area, and the video was shot very close to a creek and where prey are readily available.
