A solid biopic about the lives of the teacher and students (including a young Sammo Hung, Yuen Biao, and Jackie Chan) at the Beijing Opera School. The leisurely pacing and very episodic structure makes it drag a bit in spots, but it's endearing enough that this never feels like a huge issue.
