7 ore fa · He left Sydney in 1929 when he took over the leadership of the TS in India from Annie Besant (1847–1933), who was in poor health. Leadbeater nevertheless returned to Australia for short visits, and it was in the country that he died in 1934 (McMinn 2006 [1986]).
