23 ore fa · The Africa campaign against Rommel ended with the Axis surrender in May 1943. The invasion of Italy (mainland) was in September 1943. (Sicily invasion was in July 1943.) I've worked with a quite few blokes who followed that route - Desert Corp. in Africa against Rommel and then moving onto the Italy campaign.
