That Wonderful Guy is an American situation comedy television program that was broadcast on ABC from December 28, 1949, through April 28, 1950. It featured Jack Lemmon in his first starring role on TV.
That Wonderful Guy: With Jack Lemmon, Neil Hamilton, Cynthia Stone, The Bernie Green Orchestra. Franklin Westbrook is a snooty theater critic who relishes showing disdain for everything. Midwestern Harold is his eager valet who thinks his job will help him become a successful actor and become more worldly.

Debuting in December 1949, this early weekly comedy series from ABC starred (then little-known) Jack Lemmon as Harold, a young out-of-work actor from the country who got a job as the valet of crotchety and pompous drama critic Franklin Westbrook (Neil Hamilton, who went on to play Commissioner Gordon in the Batman series).
Episode dated 7 April 1950. An engineering flaw in a record player mistakenly gives Harold's singing voice a deep baritone resonance that it really doesn't have. Harold, backed by a pushy agent, becomes an overnight sensation-- until the mechanical flaw is discovered.
