The Dreaming was an American rock band founded in the Hollywood area by Christopher Hall, the lead singer of the band Stabbing Westward, and Johnny Haro in 2001.

Ora – dopo diversi anni di assenza dal mercato – Mighty Music ristamperà tutte le release del gruppo: Freak Of Nature (1993), Gathering Of Freaks (1994) e Outcasts (1998).
Due to a broken collarbone, Kubiszewski was forced to sit out the remainder of the touring cycle. He was replaced for three dates by former drummer Chris Vrenna, then Johnny Haro for the remaining dates. Haro joined Econoline Crush after Kubiszewski's return.
The band used programmed drums and another drummer up until drummer Johnny Haro joined the newly-formed band. After six months of rehearsals, Tramp and Steffensen had an argument resulting in Steffensen leaving the band to return to Denmark.
Completarono la formazione il chitarrista Kenny Korade e l'ex bassista dei Lion, Jerry Best e il batterista Johnny Haro. Dopo sei mesi di prove, Steffensen decise di abbandonare la band per ritornare in Danimarca, venendo sostituito dall'ex chitarrista degli House of Lords , Dennis Chick.
