A Certain Ratio. Formed in 1978 with a core line-up of Jez Kerr, Martin Moscrop and Donald Johnson, A Certain Ratio emerged from the hallowed grounds of the late 70s punk scene, and from that day on they’ve moved forwards with gleeful disregard for the boundaries of style and genre, their eye fixed firmly on constant progression.
Photography by Katie O'Neill. Musician and educator Martin Moscrop is a founding member of post-punk-funk band, A Certain Ratio (ACR). The band were among the first to debut on Factory Records in 1979 and are one of only a few bands from the era still writing and releasing new material.
