Black Tape for a Blue Girl (often stylized as black tape for a blue girl) is an American dark wave band formed in 1986 by keyboardist/songwriter Sam Rosenthal, the founder of Projekt Records. Their music has elements of dark wave, ethereal, ambient, neoclassical, and dark cabaret music.
