West Roxbury Educational Complex (formerly West Roxbury High School) was a high school complex within Boston Public Schools located in the West Roxbury neighborhood of Boston, Massachusetts. (1976 – 2019) History. The School was located on a 14 acre site near the 19th Century site of Brook Farm, and in the watershed of the upper Charles River.
19 mar 2024 · We conducted a needs assessment to rebuild the West Roxbury Education Complex (WREC) as a comprehensive 7-12 high school serving a student population across the City. The WREC closed in June 2019 due to major roof, masonry, and windows issues and significant deferred maintenance.
