The Cadets Drum and Bugle Corps (formerly the Holy Name Cadets, Cadets of Garfield, Garfield Cadets, and Cadets of Bergen County) was a junior drum and bugle corps that operated from 1934 to 2024. Based in Erie, Pennsylvania, the group was among the thirteen founding corps of Drum Corps International (DCI).
New director, new board. For a corps that was so rooted in tradition and mystique and the lineage of design those really made an impact. The Cadets had a style and a way about them that they knew how to pull off. It just takes a real cohesiveness to the staff and the design and the membership buying in to do that.
