James Scott, I duca di Monmouth (Rotterdam, 9 aprile 1649 – Tower Hill, 15 luglio 1685), è stato un nobile e militare inglese. Originally called James Crofts or James Fitzroy , he was born in Rotterdam in the Netherlands , the eldest illegitimate son of Charles II of England with his mistress Lucy Walter .
