To commemorate his 50th anniversary, George Thorogood is going on tour with his longtime backing band The Destroyers in 2023. The North American leg of the Bad All Over the World – 50 Years of Rock Tour will include Thorogood’s first Canadian dates in three years.
His major recording debut came with the album George Thorogood and the Destroyers, which was released in 1977. In 1978, Thorogood released his next album with the Destroyers titled Move It on Over, which included a remake of Hank Williams 's "Move It on Over".
Proceeds from his current tour, “Bad All Over The World: 50 Years of Rock,” benefit the memorial fund. Thorogood and his bandmates performed the following night, June 22, in Selbyville — the only Delaware date on their current tour.
