He later played bass and co-produced one track on the 1994 Sam Phillips album Martinis and Bikinis, and in 2005, he contributed to Billy Sherwood's Pink Floyd tribute album Return to the Dark Side of the Moon, playing bass and singing lead vocal on "Brain Damage".
Martinis & Bikinis is the seventh studio album by American singer and songwriter Sam Phillips. It was released on March 8, 1994, and re-released on July 17, 2012. [8] " Circle of Fire" was nominated for Best Female Rock Vocal Performance at the 37th Annual Grammy Awards .

I this photo from an interview in Guitar magazine, Colin is seen playing his 1969 Vox V271 Apollo IV bass, gifted to him by T-Bone Burnett during the sessions for the Sam Phillips album "Martinis & Bikinis."
This is one of my favorite Americana rock albums - a truly underappreciated gem. It is also my favorite from Ms. Phillips. I even love the b&w cover with the bogus clothing label on it. And there is Colin Moulding of XTC on bass (!)

Co-produced by Colin Moulding, it boasts one of the most melodic, radio-friendly hooks on the entire album. Just as good is “I Need Love,” a perfect, harmony-laden jangle-pop opus, replete with chiming guitars.
