It was written, arranged and produced entirely by Armatrading herself, and recorded at her home studio (Bumpkin), with mixing done at Olympic Studios, London.

  4. 14 lug 2017 · Despite its title, The Shouting Stage is one of Joan Armatradings most restrained albums. The opening “The Devil I Know,” with its sophisticated jazz/blues setting, lets you know that she won’t be trying to rock your socks off.

  7. Alan Clark (born 5 March 1952) is an English musician who was the first keyboardist and co-producer of the rock band Dire Straits. In 2018, he was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a significant member of the band.
