Severo Jornacion. Website. OfficialSmithereens.com jimbabjak.com. The Smithereens is an American rock band from Carteret, New Jersey. [1] The group formed in 1980 with members Pat DiNizio (vocals & guitar), Jim Babjak (guitar & vocals ), Mike Mesaros (bass guitar & vocals ), and Dennis Diken (drums & percussion).

In 1997, when Mesaros couldn’t make a Smithereens gig in San Diego, Severo Jornacion of Los Angeles was called upon to handle bass duties. Occasional fill-in opportunities followed, and when Mesaros decided to retire from the band, the energetic Jornacion — nicknamed “The Thrilla” — became a full-time member around late 2005/early 2006.
15 dic 2010 · Seated on a small couch to DiNizio’s right is Severo “The Thrilla” Jornacion, the band’s bassist. As Jornacion watches and listens, DiNizio sings the phrase a few more times, arms clasped behind his back as though the search for the right notes has him momentarily handcuffed.

The Lost Album is the twelfth studio album by American rock band the Smithereens, released on September 23, 2022, by Sunset Blvd Records. It comprises tracks recorded in 1993 for an abandoned album, [6] [7] and is the first album of previously unreleased original material in eleven years, since the release of 2011 in 2011. [6]
