Today most people would remember her as proposed by the famous TV drama Wu meiniang chuanqi 武媚 娘传奇,23 in which Fan Bingbing 范冰冰 (b. 1981), the main actress, created a charming and powerful Wu Zetian, quite different from the depiction proposed by S. K. Chang in 1939.
