Holly and the Italians went on tour in the US and in August 1980 played the major Heatwave festival near Toronto. The band notably toured with The Selecter, opened for The Clash during their Sandinista! tour pre- Bonds shows in New York City [12] and did several shows around the US with the Ramones. [8]

Holly and the Italians is the first studio album released by the American singer Holly Beth Vincent as a solo artist, in 1982.

10 mar 2024 · Early in 1982, Vincent released a duet single with Joey Ramone on the old Sonny and Cher chestnut "I Got You Babe," and later that year, she issued a solo album called Holly & the Italians, even though the band no longer existed and the disc was credited to her alone.
11 mag 2008 · It's only fitting that Holly Beth Vincent of Holly & the Italians would eventually make a record with Joey Ramone (the pair revisiting "I Got You Babe" on a 1982 single). In many ways, Vincent could have passed for Ramone's younger sister (or maybe a kissing cousin).
