Sun Giant EP di Filippo Maradei I Fleet Foxes rincorrono una lepre ben precisa: agili, scattanti, giovani (soprattutto Pecknold , il cantante, appena 24 anni per lui), nostalgici del folk-rock dei '70, adorano inseguire una determinata meta artistica; magari ci girano attorno, ci danzano vicino per non mostrare sfacciatamente le loro intenzioni.
Preceding the release of the album, Fleet Foxes also issued Sun Giant, an extended play later bundled with the vinyl edition of the LP. Sun Giant was recorded in only eight days, after the recording of Fleet Foxes, but was released first.
27 feb 2008 · The Sun Giant EP is our first release with the really very wonderful, baroque harmonic pop combo Fleet Foxes. Their names are Skye, Robin, Joshua, Casey, and Christian and they live here in Seattle, Wash. We will be releasing a longer-length (some might even say “full-length”) recording of theirs on June the 3rd, 2008.
