His songs are known for their mix of electronic, trance, and religiously themed lyrics and are entirely written, performed, and produced by Perls; notable projects include 009 Sound System and Aalborg Soundtracks.
Alexander Perls grew up in Massachusetts, a state mostly populated by annoying people, and attended Concord Academy, a high school for spoiled New England teens, and then spent four years at the much-maligned Oberlin College, an institution where he learned to keep his mouth shut with respect to far-left political fantasies about 25 years before everyone else had to learn to do the same thing.
His solo projects 009 Sound System and Aalborg Soundtracks appear on over three million YouTube videos, with over 20 billion aggregate plays since 2010. Perls has written over twenty-five top-40 hits across Europe, the UK and Australia.
