Jona Freiherr von Ustinov (Russian: Иона Платонович Устинов, romanized: Iona Platonovich Ustinov; 2 December 1892 – 1 December 1962), often known as Klop Ustinov (Клоп Устинов), was a German journalist and diplomat who worked for MI5 during the time of the Nazi regime.

Jona Baron von Ustinov (also known as Klop Ustinov (Клоп Устинов)) (Russian: Иона Платонович Устинов; 2 December 1892 – 1 December 1962) was a German journalist and diplomat who worked for MI5 during the time of the Nazi regime.
Known to his friends as “Klop” (Russian for “bedbug,” a nickname given to him by his wife, according to author Day), Jona von Ustinov served both MI5 and MI6 before, during, and after WW II. Of Russian, Armenian, German, Polish, Jewish, and Ethiopian noble descent, the multilingual Klop was admired professionally by all with whom he served.

Jona von Ustinov was concerned about the developments in Nazi Germany and in 1935 he resigned from his job at the German Embassy. He became friends with Robert Vansittart , the permanent under-secretary at the Foreign Office.
