Jiskefet was een humoristische, absurdistisch-satirische serie uitgezonden door de VPRO van 1990 tot 2005. Het woord " jiskefet " is Fries voor " vuilnisemmer " (in de meest letterlijke betekenis "asvat") en werd als titel aangereikt door de moeder van eerste regisseur Pieter Verhoeff tijdens diens verjaardag.
