The olm ( German: [ɔlm] ⓘ) or proteus ( Proteus anguinus) is an aquatic salamander which is the only species in the genus Proteus of the family Proteidae [2] and the only exclusively cave-dwelling chordate species found in Europe; the family's other extant genus is Necturus.
The Olms are a retro-leaning pop/rock duo of singer/songwriter Pete Yorn and musician, photographer, and artist J.D. King. The two met through King's girlfriend. When Yorn heard King's Here's J.D. King, he was so impressed that he invited him on tour.
