Official website. The Nice biography. Founded in London, UK in 1967 - Disbanded in 1970. The NICE was the precursor to one of progs most influential bands - Emerson Lake & Palmer.
23 gen 2007 · The Nice had much more wit, mischief, and rock'n'roll élan than ELP, which usually took itself quite seriously. The Nice were masters of the weird psychedelic short form, somewhat like the Beatles of "Magical Mystery Tour" ("Cry of Eugene") and of an ass-kicking sardonicism ("America," "Happy Freuds").
