I Temple of the Dog sono stati un supergruppo rock statunitense, formatosi nel 1990 a Seattle e scioltosi nel 1992, dopo la pubblicazione di un unico album. La band comprendeva membri di Soundgarden, dei Mother Love Bone e futuri membri dei Pearl Jam [2].

Non che "Temple of the DoG" sia un disco noto alle grandi masse, ma è assurto ultimamente a disco simbolo degli anni '90, esempio limpido del meglio prodotto da una generazione di musicisti. Certo, non ha inventato nnulla, o poteva essere migliore in qualcosa, ma perchè dire che è un disco mediocre ?
