Die Alptraumfrau plot. Beate Meitner is a woman who is going through a serious personality crisis. She has had a beauty flaw since childhood: she looks cross-eyed. As a result, her development is inhibited and life is difficult for her. She also seeks psychiatric help and takes antidepressants.
