Rasputina is an American rock band based in New York City, known for an unconventional music style, as well as a fascination with historical allegories and fashion, especially those pertaining to the Victorian era.

Melora Creager has a pretty decent acid folk voice, but she isn't even in the same galaxy with the legendary goddess pipes of Heart's Ann Wilson, even on a good day.

Rasputina are currently selling “The Lost & Found” exclusively over their website. Having parted ways with Sony, they are in talks with Instinct about releasing their new album in late Feb. or March (the label with probably re-issue “The Lost & Found” after that’s out.)
