Nicholas James "Nic" Dalton (born 14 November 1964) is an Australian multi-instrumentalist and record label owner. He was a member of various Australian bands including, The Plunderers (1984–95), Godstar (1991–95) and Sneeze (1991–present); as well playing with Ratcat and The Hummingbirds .
13 mag 2021 · The first solo recordings by Nic Dalton – available on vinyl for the first time. All of these songs appeared on the Romolo 1986-88 cd (released in 1997) except two (Anniversary Song, Ring On Every Finger) which appeared on the Last Seen Near Trafalgar 1987-89 cd (released in 2008).
9 ott 2023 · Nic, also the founder of the independent label Half a Cow Records, is back with new music. He just released his first new tracks since 2018. That would be the single: “I Don’t Have a Team / Brenda Part 2” , a nostalgic dive into the romantic fun vibe that reminds us so much of bands like Godstar.

Half a Cow have just released a compilation album called ‘Magneto’ spanning across thirty years of material from a range of bands that share one crucial element – unadorned and pure creativity.

Aussie Nic Dalton was famously one of Evan Dando’s Lemonheads, but back in the late 80s he was evidently very busy meticulously writing and recording an enormous body of work, much of it at home on a Tascam four-track.
