Degrees. Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School offers multiple degree programs, all shaped by our mission and vision statement, and each with its own distinctive scope and purpose. MASTER’S DEGREE PROGRAMS. The Master of Divinity for Theological Professions degree (M.Div.) is the most versatile, all-purpose degree.
We offer robust online seminary programs, or students can join us in Rochester for courses exploring theology, Biblical studies, and Christian ministry education. Our graduates pursue pathways in chaplaincy, a variety of ministry settings, Christian education, non-profit organizations, community advocacy, and academia.
The Crozer Theological Seminary - alma mater of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. - also moved to Rochester from Pennsylvania to merge in 1970. Thus, the present name of the school was formed - the Colgate Rochester Crozer Divinity School.
