Sir Robert Cavendish Spencer (1791–1830), naval officer, born on 24 October 1791, was the third son of George John Spencer, 2nd Earl Spencer, and his wife, Lady Lavinia, eldest daughter of Charles Bingham, first Earl Lucan, and the brother of Frederick Spencer, 4th Earl Spencer.
