Soulwax is composed of David and Stephen Dewaele. They specialise in alternative rock and electronica, and are the founders of the label DEEWEE.
Il gruppo è stato fondato dai fratelli David e Stephen Dewaele a Gand, in Belgio. Dall'album d'esordio Leave the Story Untold , passando per Much Against Everyone's Advice ed Any Minute Now , il gruppo ha virato lentamente dal rock verso suoni dance e prossimi alla musica elettronica da dancefloor.
9 mar 2017 · Soulwax’s Stephen and David Dewaele built the complex with local architect Glenn Sestig as a headquarters for all of their creative endeavours, with the space functioning as a recording studio, record label office, vinyl library, and apartment for visiting musicians.
26 set 2023 · Brothers Stephen and David Dewaele will lead a full band in a new live show, set to stop in 13 cities in the UK and Europe. The show will debut on 15th January at Amsterdam venue Paradiso and close at Manchester's New Century Hall on 3rd February.
