Christine Wilhelmine "Minna" Planer (5 September 1809 – 25 January 1866) was a German actress and the first wife of composer Richard Wagner, to whom she was married for 30 years, although for the last 10 years they often lived apart.

Minna Planer, la prima moglie di Wagner. Wagner nacque il 22 maggio 1813 a Lipsia, nono figlio del giurista e attore dilettante Carl Friedrich Wagner (1770 – 1813) e di Johanna Rosine Wagner (1774 – 1848), nata a Pätz. Sei mesi dopo la sua nascita suo padre morì di tifo.
Wagner used comparisons like this to encourage what became the stereotypical image of his first wife Minna, one that has dominated her reception down to the present day. But Minna Wagner saw her relationship with Richard from a different perspective, one that seems more realistic.

29 mag 2024 · The German actress Minna Planer (1809–66) was Wagner's first wife. Though it lasted until her death, their marriage, never an easy one, was punctuated by long periods of separation, and during its early years Minna was the main breadwinner.
