  1. Sir Roger Clarendon (c.1350–1402), was a royal bastard and conspirator, who was executed for treason. [1] Biography. Clarendon was a natural son of Edward the Black Prince, and his mistress, Edith Willesford. He was a paternal half-brother to Richard II of England.

  4. Roger Clarendon (ill.) Edward of Woodstock (15 June 1330 – 8 June 1376), [1] known to history as the Black Prince, [a] was the eldest son and heir apparent of King Edward III of England. He died before his father and so his son, Richard II, succeeded to the throne instead.
