Najwa Ghanem (Arabic: نجوى غانم; born c. 1960) is a Syrian woman who was the first wife and first cousin of Osama bin Laden, being the daughter of his mother's brother. She is also known as Um Abdallah (mother of Abdallah).
In 1974, at the age of 17, bin Laden married his first wife Najwa Ghanem at Latakia, Syria. Osama bin Laden married at least four other women; he fathered between 20 and 24 children.

Najwa Ghanem (born 1959), became the first wife of Osama in 1974. A first cousin, she was his mother's niece. She co-authored Growing Up bin Laden with her son Omar. Shaikha bint Laden (born 1960), half-sister of Osama, married Mohammed Jamal Khalifa.
