Bryant Stringham Hinckley (July 9, 1867 – June 5, 1961) was an American author, religious speaker, civic leader and educator. He served as a prominent mid-level leader in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the early 20th century.

Bryant S. Hinckley was born in 1867 in Coalville, Utah. He is well known for his many contributions toward the establishment of Brigham Young University. At age sixteen, Bryant was sent to what was then Brigham Young Academy with his fourteen siblings.
