Roberts was joined on the record by Burrito Brothers bandmate Chris Hillman, as well as three of the Eagles: Don Henley, Bernie Leadon (formerly of the Burrito Brothers), and Randy Meisner. Other guest musicians include David Crosby, Jackson Browne, Al Perkins, Dallas Taylor, Marc Benno and Byron Berline.
He is best known as a founding member and lead singer of Firefall from 1974 to 1981, as well as his work with The Flying Burrito Brothers on their 1971 self-titled album. [1] He also recorded two solo albums, Windmills in 1972 and She Is a Song in 1973.

12 feb 2012 · Believe it or not, the 'Blue' Burrito LP/CD was the best Gram-less FBB LP ever released. Great stuff, and Rick had a lot to do w/ it. Rick Roberts followed w/ 2 solo Lp's before starting Firefall. Both "Windmills" and the follow-up, "She Is A Song" are great Lp's/CD's. Once these 2 became available on 1 CD, I scooped it up.
