23 lug 2019 · MISSION OCEANX will premiere in 171 countries and 43 languages on National Geographic, with the first season focusing on the Indian Ocean, with the aim that it will become a recurring series focusing on a different ocean each season.
OceanX combines science, technology and media to explore and raise awareness for the oceans and “create a community engaged with protecting them.” The initiative also supports and facilitates ocean research for scientists, science institutions, media companies and philanthropy partners.
OceanX conducts mission which are comprised of OceanX crew members, technicians, scientists, and filmmakers. The science to be conducted on each mission is largely defined by scientists that are local to the site of the mission.
