Jerome David Marotta (born February 6, 1956) is an American drummer who resides in Woodstock, New York. He is the younger brother of Rick Marotta; Rick is also a drummer and composer.
More than just a world class drummer, Jerry Marotta‘s talents include producing, composing, vocals and various instruments including bass guitar and sax. Jerry divides his time performing and recording with The Marotta Brothers Band, Security Project, The Fragile Fate, Annie & the Hedonists, and Reelin’ in the Years.
Currently Jerry is spreading his time between The Marotta Brothers Band (with Rick), The Fragile Fate with Rupert Greenall (The Fixx), Flav Martin, Security Project with Trey Gunn, Reelin’ in the Years, and Annie & The Hedonists. Jerry now carries his experiences into his own career as a producer.
