Logic was briefly a member of Red Krayola, appearing on two singles and the albums Soldier Talk and Kangaroo?. Her saxophone lent a unique quality to the bands she was in. [6] She also played on recordings by The Raincoats, The Stranglers, Kollaa Kestää [ fi], [7] Swell Maps, and later, Boy George. [8]

Kangaroo? is the second collaboration between the experimental rock band the Red Crayola and the conceptual art group Art & Language, released in 1981 by Rough Trade Records. [6] [7] The album was adopted by Drag City and re-issued on CD in 1995.

“Kangaroo?” by The Red Krayola was produced by Geoff Travis, Mayo Thompson, Lora Logic, Gina Birch, Epic Soundtrax & Adam Kidron.
Red Crayola teamed up with Art & Language in 1973, who Thompson described as "the baddest bastards on the block", for three LPs: 1976's Corrected Slogans, 1981's Kangaroo? (also featuring the Raincoats' Gina Birch, Lora Logic of Essential Logic and Swell Maps' Epic Soundtracks) and 1983's Black Snakes.
