Somewhere in Sonora is a 1933 American Pre-Code Western film directed by Mack V. Wright and starring John Wayne. It is a remake of the 1927 silent film of the same name. The story was based on a 1925 novel named "Somewhere South" by Will Levington Comfort.

Somewhere in Sonora - (Original Trailer) John Wayne and his horse Duke head to Mexico to find a friend's son who has taken up with bandits Somewhere In Sonora (1933).
After he is wrongly accused of rigging a stagecoach race, John flees to Sonora and infiltrates a band of desperadoes to save the son of his former boss and thwart their attempt to rob a silver mine belonging to the father of his sweetheart, Mary Burton (Shirley Palmer).
