Carl Keesee is an American recording artist, songwriter, and musician. He was born in Oklahoma but moved to Canada. He is best known as a bassist, but has also performed as a clarinetist and vocalist.
American bassist, clarinetist and saxophonist. Keesee played with the folk rock band Lazarus starting in the late 1960s, later joining Canadian roots rock band The Florida Razors. He now lives in Austin, Texas, where he joined Jim Stringer & The AM Band in 1998.
Lazarus were a 1970s American soft rock band, consisting of principal members Billie Hughes, Gary Dye, and Carl Keesee. Hughes was the leader of the band, serving as lead singer and songwriter, and playing guitar and violin.
