This is The Friends Of Distinction's cover of Hugh Masekela's 1968 hit, Grazing In The Grass. Released in March 1969, the song went Top 5 on both the pop and soul charts in the US, peaking at #3 on the Billboard Hot 100 on June 7, 1969 and #6 on Cash Box on June 21, 1969.
