TV on the Radio ( TVOTR [2] [3]) is an American rock band from Brooklyn, New York, formed in 2001. The band consists of Tunde Adebimpe (vocals, loops), David Andrew Sitek (guitars, keyboards, loops), Kyp Malone (vocals, guitars, bass, loops), and Jaleel Bunton (drums, bass, vocals, loops, guitars).

7 apr 2011 · Keyboardist/guitarist Jaleel Bunton described himself as the member who “hits and pokes things.” Even frontman Tunde Adebimpe oscillated from comedian to band documentarian, poking fun at his bandmates.
With new member Kyp Malone sharing songwriting, guitar and vocal duties, TVOTR was quickly on the path to the being one of the most talked-about new groups in America. After touring as a trio, Jaleel Bunton (drums) and Gerard Smith (bass) joined the band officially.
