Martha Haskins, Lady Darwin (née du Puy; July 27, 1861 - 6 February 1947), known as Maud Darwin, was an American socialite and the wife of the English Cambridge University astronomer Sir George Darwin.
Darwin married Martha (Maud) du Puy, the daughter of Charles du Puy of Philadelphia, in 1884; his wife was a member of the Ladies Dining Society in Cambridge, with 11 other members. She died on 6 February 1947. They had three sons and two daughters: Gwen Raverat (1885–1957), artist.
The American Maud Darwin, the youngest of the group, was married to George Darwin, Plumian Professor of Astronomy and Experimental Philosophy. According to her eldest daughter, the engraver Gwen Raverat , Maud had arrived in England with a great respect for culture, and eager to learn all she could.

Maud Darwin, also known as Lady Maud Darwin, was the daughter-in-law of the famous naturalist Charles Darwin. Her advocacy and social reform work led to the establishment of the Women Police Volunteers in Cambridge in 1914, which later evolved into the Cambridge Women Police Patrols.
