16 mag 2009 · Bluechel Jr., Ted (18th September 1946-16th May 2009) He was a multi-instrumentalist/singer who plays drums, percussion and guitarist born in San Pedro, California. In the late 1950s/early 1960s he was with The Cherry Hill Singers and the band, The Men.
The Association are an American pop band, formed in Los Angeles, California, in 1965. When their breakthrough came in 1966, their line-up consisted of Terry Kirkman, Russ Giguere, Jules Alexander, Jim Yester, Brian Cole and Ted Bluechel Jr.
Ted Bluechel, Jr. was their drummer, Brian Cole played bass, Russ Giguere was on percussion, and Jim Yester, brother of Easy Riders/Modern Folk Quartet alumnus Jerry Yester, played rhythm guitar behind Alexander.

Ted Bluechel, Jr. Real Name: Theodore John Bluechel, Jr. Profile: Multi-instrumentalist/singer and songwriter best known as vocalist and drummer in The Association. By the end of the 1970s he was the sole original remaining group member.
