28 mar 2023 · The Tracy's marriage was beginning to unravel but Spencer was unwilling to divorce Louise. He was a staunch Catholic, unlike Louise, who came from an Episcopalian family. Tracy was racked with guilt all his life for his treatment of his wife, and he refused to end the marriage.
