The National Film School of Denmark (Danish: Den Danske Filmskole) is an independent institution under the Danish Ministry of Cultural Affairs. It was established in 1966 and is based on Holmen in the harbour of Copenhagen.

Since 1966, the National Film School of Denmark has existed on a foundation of knowledge and experience and craftsmanship and art. It has hosted great personalities and has constantly been in dialogue with and supplier to the surrounding Danish film industry.
