We will need to increase services, grow and adapt to meet the demand for cutting edge technology in an environment of decreasing and outcome-based reimbursement. Additionally, to foster a culture of innovation and discovery, we will need to focus on expanding education and research.
Pathology is a peer-reviewed journal that publishes original articles on various aspects of pathology, such as anatomical, chemical, molecular, and forensic pathology. The journal also features reviews, rapid communications, and correspondence from the RCPA and other experts in the field.
CORPath is the largest private practice of hospital-based pathologists in central Ohio. The company started as two independent groups in the 1970s serving Riverside Methodist Hospital and Grant Medical Center.
We are the oldest continuous oral biopsy service and only graduate oral pathology training program in Ohio. We use state-of-the-art testing, including direct immunofluorescence, immunohistochemistry, in-situ hybridization and molecular analysis to insure diagnostic accuracy.
Our division, based in the James Cancer Hospital and The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center Department of Pathology, provides clinical molecular diagnostic testing for a wide range of cancer conditions, cardiovascular risk, and inheritable genetic disorders.
