Chicagoan Louis Svitek has played in Chicago’s most popular rock bands Zeotrope, Lost Cause, and Mayhem Inc. (While opening for Anthrax, Mayhem Inc. almost burned the stage down at Chicago club The Cabaret Metro and the band was subsequently banned from playing in the Chicago-land area forever).
Louis Svitek (sometimes credited as Louie Svitek) is a guitarist. His connections to Chicago's punk scene come through stints with Zoetrope and Lost Cause. Louis joined M.O.D. after leaving Zoetrope in 1988 and, after leaving that group, formed Mindfunk in the early '90s.
